NSX誕生30周年にあわせて、世界中から多くのお祝いのメッセージが届きました。これらを初代NSXのLPLであった上原繁さんにお届けし、これまでの30年を振り返って私たちオーナーに対してメッセージをいただきました。これらに加えて”The Spirit of NSX”と題したパネルとともに冊子(デジタルブック)としました。多くのNSXオーナーの方にお読みいただけると幸いです。

Good times & Bad times, with NSX
今回の企画を通して、改めてこのクルマに魅せられた多くの人が、30年経過した今も熱い想いを持ち続けていると感じました。そして同時に、その人たちがこれまでと同じくこれからも、その想いを胸にドライブし続けるであろうと確信しました。このことは、最後となるNSX fiesta 2021とそれに続く活動の原動力になるでしょう。
最後と言われていたNSX fiesta 2020はコロナ禍で感染防止対策を講じての開催を目指しましたが、最終的には来年2021年に延期することとなりました。パーティーもないワンデイで縮小された簡素なプログラム内容で終わることを考えれば、それはそれで良かったのですが、誕生30周年の今年に何もやらないということになります。あれだけ多くの影響を与えた車の誕生を祝うために何かできないか。集うことができない中で思いついたのがケーキ。「ケーキを作ろう」と呼びかけました。アメリカのオーナーには9月13日の意味が理解してもらえず(彼らにとっては、1989年2月のシカゴでのプロトタイプ発表が重要らしい)、集まったのは19個。でも、どれも素晴らしいものでした。ここに紹介します。詳細はFacebookサイトへ。

Hello everyone, my name is Uehara, and I was in charge of the NSX development. Thirty years have passed since the car was launched in 1990 and I would like to thank you all for your patronage over the many years.
The NSX is a car that Honda was determined to make. One of the great joys of working on the NSX is that I had been able to work on it from the beginning to the end, and I have been able to see the smiles on the faces of so many owners. There have been many owners who have told me, “This car changed my life”. Cars like that don’t come along very often. I’m very grateful for this.
The NSX, with its all-aluminum body, has special durability. It is also said that the design is less likely to deteriorate. I have driven my NSX for 30 years and it has never let me down. The NSX is a car that can be used for a long time so I hope that you will continue to everyday enjoy a wonderful life with your NSX.
Also, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the many people who have supported the NSX over the years. Thank you very much.
