What they see and how they feel after attending 1998 NSX fiesta in MOTEGI, JAPAN. We introduce some comments by NSX owners coming from overseas below.

This was a very good event. We owe a lot of thanks to all of the Japanese people we had the pleasure to meet. Especially, we like to thank Tomiyoshi-san of NSX Club of Japan, Nakamura-san of Honda and Nakanishi-san of Honda. These guys were the best hosts! We want many Japanese NSX owners to come to NSXPO 99 in the United States. It will be held in May in Monterey, CA at the famous Laguna Seca race track. Please come and allow us to return some of the great hospitality that was extended to all of us. I think many more people will come from the US to NSX Fiesta 99. See you soon!

It was amazing to visit the birthplace for our superb automobiles and to see, firsthand, how much work really goes into its production. The hospitality was great and I would really like to thank Honda, the NSX Club of Japan and Kendall Pond for all of their efforts. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend the rest of the NSX Fiesta weekend due to a prior engagement but I look forward to seeing many of you at NSXPO ’99 in California next year.

Dagmar and I had a great time in Japan and at the NSX Fiesta. The hospitality of Honda and the NSX Club of Japan was fantastic. The Twin Ring Motegi Track is a spectacular track. Now if I can only figure out how to get my car there next year……

It was really enjoyable to meet so many NSX zealots like myself .I hope that many Japanese owners will come and join us in America for some of our NSX events. My overall impression is that it would be difficult for us Americans to be as kind and hospitable as our Japanese hosts have been. However, we will try very hard to equal or surpass the consideration that you have shown to us. Thank you very much for inviting us. And, one more thing – Keep the shiny side up!!

This was the best vacation that I have ever had. I was very impressed with the hospitality and friendliness of all of the NSX owners in Japan. I hope you will join us in May for NSXPO ’99 at Laguna Seca. If you come for NSXPO, my only wish is if you bring the TRM Angels!!

The 1998 NSX Fiesta is going to be one of the most memorable experiences of NSX ownership for me. In addition to the spectacular events that Honda of Japan put together, I am very honored at the amount of effort put in by the very hospitable members of the NSX Club of Japan and our hosts from Honda throughout our entire trip. The wonderful event was capped off with having had the honor to drive (offered by *** please translate card attached***) in the closing parade around the road course. This is a wonderful event that I hope I will be able to attend in the coming years.

What a great way to see Japan for the first time ! Great people but still too much language barrier in a country that has relied on the west to recover too many cars and a new appreciation of what a car can do to get people together. Honda was unusually shy with their information much more so than the Germans would be on a factory visit. I still think the visit was an eyeopener. Who said there are no angels in Japan ? I even got to touch one!!

What a phenomenal weekend. It has truly been a trip of a lifetime for me. Everything has been state of the art, from the Twin Ring Motegi track and facilities, to the factory tours, to the bus tour at the Test oval, to the museums, the cars, the rides and drives, and most specially, the people.
Everything is so new to me… the ambiance, the sights and the sounds…. awesome! Honda and the NSX Club of Japan did a wonderful job in organizing the event.
The sight of 200-plus NSXs in one place is truly wonderful. The group of famous professional drivers at the event was truly a treat. And the shopping…
The NSX Fiesta is truly the premier NSX event… next to the NSXPO, that is! <very big grin> Kidding aside, we really hope to see a lot of you wonderful NSXers to come over to the United States for our national NSX event, the NSXPO. We hope to extend the same wonderful hospitality you have given us.

I had a *wonderful* time. I want to thank Honda, the two Honda representatives, and Mr. Tomiyoshi for hosting such and excellent event. The organization, scheduling, accommodations, factory tour and events were all fantastic. Of my previous travels around the world, this event was by far the most fun and interesting.
I sincerely look forward to hosting anybody related to the NSX fiesta who will be coming to the US for NSXPO next year.

Watakushi-no namae-wa Miled desu. Anata-wa ikaga desu ka? Hajimemashite. Omeni kakarete ureshi desu. Niyu Yoku-kara desu.
Being this our first visit to Japan, we could not have been greeted and hosted by a more distinct and hospitable group of gentlemen. Our endless thanks to Hirofumi Tomiyoshi-san (NSX Club Of Japan), Masahiko Nakamura-san and Gaku Nakanishi-san (Honda) and Hiroyuki Kase-san (yellow Type-R). Their knowledge of Honda and of our most prized possession, the Acura NSX, was insurmountable. To top that off, they were most fluent in the English language. This comes to me as sort of an embarrassment since we visited them, we should at least have made an attempt to speak their language. A lot easier said than done as we only have 26 letters in our alphabet and they have 2,000 symbols. To experience the dream of a lifetime and to share it with many other NSX owners and enthusiasts, both American and Japanese, is a memory I won’t ever forget.
The ability to ride with a professional driver in a Japanese NSX-R around the world famous (and brand new) Twin Ring Motegi Racetrack was simply outstanding! Touring the NSX Factory, meeting Shigeru Uehara (Chief Engineer responsible for the NSX) and riding a Honda bus on the Honda Proving Grounds watching NSXs race by (like an F-16 formation) on the high embankments was more than I could ever have imagined or muster.
The hospitality of our Japanese hosts, the overwhelming number and variety of NSXs on one racetrack, the visit to Honda R&D along with the NSX factory tour, touring the Honda Collection Hall and riding an electric bicycle with the beauty of Japan in the background and the wonderful friends I have met (from Japan and United States) will remain a memory I will cherish and honor as a proud NSX owner for the rest of my life! Gokuro sama!
A very special thank you goes out to Kendall Pond for his endless time and energy in organizing such a spectacular event! Because without him, none of these wonderful memories would have been possible.

What a great weekend, the highlight was the final parade when I got the chance to drive my own NSX on the Motegi circuit – WOW !!!
The side by sides are amazing and everybody should give them go. Many thanks to Tomiyoshi-San for arranging everything for us and also many thanks to Kase-San for the drive in the type R.
The Motegi Hotel is really nice, the diner party was really great, I made a lot of new friends over the weekend, Arigato Gozaimashita.
